  1. 1 Tbsp oil

  2. 1 medium onion, chopped

  3. 1 box (7 oz) fully cooked and browned reduced-fat sausage-and-rice links

  4. 1 1/2 cups Texmati brown and wild rice with wheat and rye berries blend (Royal Blend)

  5. 2 cans (14 1/2 oz each) chicken broth

  6. 1 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning

  7. 1/4 tsp each allspice and salt

  8. 1 pkg (7 oz) dried fruit bits (Sun-Maid)

  9. 1/4 cup chopped parsley

  1. Heat oil in medium saucepan over medium heat. Sauté onion and sausage, breaking up sausage with spoon, 5 minutes or until onion is translucent.

  2. Stir in rice, broth, poultry seasoning, allspice and salt. Cook as package label directs, about 45 minutes. Stir in fruit bits and parsley, cover and let stand 5 minutes.

  3. Plan Ahead: Prepare dressing 1 day ahead, then reheat in oven or microwave.
