  1. TVP Broccoli with Oyster Sauce

  2. 1 pkg So Soya chunks

  3. 2 lb broccoli

  4. 1 carrot, sliced

  5. 1 garlic, chopped

  6. 2 slices ginger, minced

  7. 2 stalks green onion

  8. snow peas

  9. sliced water chestnuts

  10. 3 Tbsp soy sauce

  11. 2 tsp wine

  12. 1 tsp sugar

  13. 1/4 tsp garlic salt

  14. 2 Tbsp tapioca flour (or cornstarch)

  15. 1 Tbsp sesame oil

  16. 1/2 tsp white pepper

  17. 1/2 cup soup stock or bouillon

  18. 1/4 cup oyster sauce

  19. 1 Tbsp honey

  20. 1 Tbsp soy sauce

  21. 1 Tbsp tapioca flour (or cornstarch) mixed with

  22. 1/4 cup cold water

  23. Rehydrate TVP - soak in boiling water for 15 minutes and drain.

  24. Then marinate with soy, wine, sugar, garlic salt, tapioca flour,

  25. sesame oil and pepper at least 1/2 hour.

  26. Cut broccoli flowers. Peel stem and cut into 2 long pieces. Heat

  27. 3 Tbsp oil. Add ginger and garlic for 5 seconds and add

  28. marinated TVP. Stir fry over medium heat for a few minutes,

  29. constantly stir-frying. Remove and set aside.

  30. Add stock, oyster sauce, honey and soy, stir well, then add carrots,

  31. broccoli, snow peas and water chestnuts and green onion. Stir fry

  32. until broccoli is tender (but not too well done). Return TVP and stir a few seconds. Add tapioca flour mixture to thicken.
