  1. 2 1/2 cups 592ml Water

  2. 1/4 cup 59ml Vinegar

  3. 1 tablespoon 15ml Sugar

  4. 3 teaspoons 15ml Pepper

  5. 2 tablespoons 30ml Butter

  6. 3 teaspoons 15ml Salt

  7. 1/4 Chopped onion

  8. 1 Garlic - minced

  9. 1 teaspoon 5ml Red pepper

  10. 2 teaspoons 10ml Chili powder

  11. 1 teaspoon 5ml Red pepper sauce

  12. 1 teaspoon 5ml Dry mustard powder

  13. 3 tablespoons 45ml Worcestershire sauce

  1. Recipe Instructions Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Cool overnight, warm before using. Start basting meat with this at the beginning of the cooking process. Baste and turn until pork registers 170F on a meat thermometer (takes about 20 minutes for country ribs.)
