  1. Dough:

  2. 1/2 cup water

  3. 1/2 stick butter

  4. 1/2 cup flour

  5. 4 eggs

  6. Add flour as needed

  1. Melt butter, add water and then boil on the stove.

  2. Add flour and stir until it forms a soft ball. Put aside to cool.

  3. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour a little at a time to make dough. When it is still sticky, remove dough to a well floured surface & knead.

  4. Roll out thin and cut out in circles.

  5. Filling:

  6. potatoes 1 medium onion chopped 1 stick of butter 1 pound grated longhorn cheese Saute Onions in the butter until cooked Peel potatoes and then boil till you can mash them. Drain.

  7. Add cheese to hot potatoes Add butter and onions.

  8. Salt and cracked pepper to taste Beat all together and cool completely. If you fill the dough while the filling is still warm, it will turn sour.

  9. Fill perogies, fold in half and seal.

  10. Place layer on cookie sheet and freeze.

  11. Place in baggies and keep frozen until use.
