  1. 2 oz. Green tea Charbay vodka

  2. 1/4 oz. simple syrup

  3. 1/2 oz. lemon juice

  4. 1 espresso spoon grounded Szechuan pepper

  5. 3 kumquats

  1. In a shaker, muddle 2 kumquats (cut in half) with brown sugar, lemon juice, Szechuan pepper, and simple syrup.

  2. Add the green tea Charbay vodka and shake all the ingredients together with ice.

  3. Strain into a rock glass filled with ice. As a garnish, use 2 half kumquat back to back on a stick and a lemon twist.<
