  1. 1 pk For 9-inch two-crust pie

  2. 1/4c Sugar

  3. 2 tb Quick-cooking tapioca

  4. 1 ts Apple or pumpkin pie spice

  5. 1 cn (16 ounces) whole berry

  6. Cranberry sauce

  7. 5 c Coarsely chopped pared tart

  8. Apples

  9. 1/2c Coarsely chopped nuts, toast

  1. + Heat oven to 425 degrees.

  2. Prepare pastry.

  3. Mix sugar, tapioca and pie spice in large bowl.

  4. Stir in cranberry sauce, apples and nuts.

  5. Turn into pastry-lined pie plate.

  6. Dot with margarine.

  7. Cover with top crust that has slits cut in it; seal and flute.

  8. Cover edge with 2- to 3-inch strip of aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning.

  9. Remove foil during last 15 minutes of baking.

  10. Bake 40 to 50 minutes until crust is brown and juice begins to bubble through slits in crust.
