  1. 2 lbs ground chuck

  2. 1/3 cup grated onion

  3. 1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley

  4. 2 cloves garlic, minced

  5. 1 tablespoon kosher salt

  6. 2 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

  7. 6 slices Provolone cheese

  8. 12 pieces Ciabatta bread

  9. 12 tablespoons marinara sauce

  1. Preheat a greased grill over medium high heat. In a large bowl combine ground chuck, grated onion, parsley, minced garlic, salt and Italian seasoning. Mix to combine well, form into 6 patties and set aside. Grill 4 minutes on each side for medium. Place 1 slice Provolone cheese on each patty and melt. Remove burgers from grill. Cut 12 rounds of Ciabatta bread slightly larger than burger patties. Spread 1 tablespoon marinara sauce on a piece of Ciabatta bread then add the burger. Spread another tablespoon of marinara sauce on another piece of Ciabatta bread and place it on top of the burger. Repeat process with remaining burgers.
