  1. 1 tbsp butter

  2. 2 tbsp olive oil

  3. 1 tsp garlic powder or 2 cloves garlic, minced

  4. Salt and pepper to taste

  5. 1 tbsp flour

  6. 1/2 C Gorgonzola cheese crumbled

  7. 1/4 C Half-n-Half or milk

  8. 2 lbs. fresh prawn s, shelled and cooked

  9. 4 C cooked pasta such as spaghetti, or spaghettini, or angel hair

  1. In a sauce pan, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add prawns and sauté for a couple of minutes with the garlic; seasoning the prawns to taste with salt and pepper. Add the flour cook for 2-3 minutes making a bit of a roux. Add the gorgonzola and let the cheese melt, then add some Half-n-Half or milk and cook until barely simmering, stirring often. Add parmesan cheese and cream cheese and heat until mixed thoroughly, stirring frequently until sauce is smooth about 4-5 minutes. DO NOT burn. If you burn this sauce throw it out and start over.

  2. Pour 1 T olive oil over pasta and arrange pasta equally on to plates. Pour sauce over each portion of pasta.
