  1. 3/4 cup sugar

  2. 1 cup water

  3. 16 ounces POM Wonderful Pomegranate Juice

  4. fresh mint leaves - optional to garnish

  1. Into a deep sided pan add: sugar and water. Cook over medium – high heat until sugar is dissolved. Stirring as necessary. Add pomegranate juice and continue cooking.

  2. Remove pan from heat and allow it to come to room temperature. Once cool, place pan into refrigerator and allow to cool completely.

  3. Place pomegranate mixture into your ice cream maker and mix according to machine directions.

  4. Serve immediately. Freeze any uneaten portions.
