  1. 1 bunch celery, cut into 4 inch pieces

  2. 1/2 teaspoons salt, to taste, optional

  3. 1/4 teaspoons black pepper

  4. 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  5. 1 low sodium chicken bouillon cube

  6. 1 cup boiling water

  7. 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

  1. Braised Celery Recipe photo by dLife® In large skillet, arrange celery in single layer.

  2. Season with salt and pepper. Add butter.

  3. Dissolve bouillon cube in boiling water, and pour over celery.

  4. Cover pan, and bring to boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low, and simmer for 30 minutes.

  5. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
