  2. SAVORY NUT PIE WITH POTATO CRUST

  6. 1 tb Oil

  7. 2 c Onion -- chopped

  8. 2 c Celery -- chopped

  9. 1 t Rosemary

  10. 1 t Thume

  11. 1 c Pecans or walnuts -- chopped

  12. 2 tb Tamari or shoyu

  13. Egg replacer to equal 2 eggs

  14. 1/4 c Water or vegetable broth

  15. 1 Potato pie crust -- unbaked

  16. Heat the oil in a large skillet. Add the onion and celery. Saute until almost tender.

  17. Let the vegetables cool slightly and then add the

  18. nuts, tamari, egg replacer, and water or broth. Mix

  19. well.

  20. Pour the mixture into an unbaked 9-inch potato pie

  21. crust.

  22. Place the pie on the bottom rack of a 375-degree oven

  23. and bake for 40 minutes, or unti the crust is brown

  24. and the filling is set.
