  1. 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter or margarine

  2. 1/4 cup prepared barbeque sauce

  3. 4 ears sweet corn-on-the-cob, shucked

  1. Preheat broiler. Heat butter and barbeque sauce in a small saucepan over low heat until melted and smooth.

  2. Place corn on a piece of aluminum foil large enough for sides to come up to enclose corn, but leave the top open. Place wrapped corn on broiler pan; pour barbecue mixture over corn. Broil corn 4 inches from the heat source for 8 minutes; turning and basting occasionally until golden. Serve immediately.
