  1. Heat apan and pour three table spoon of oil.when the oil gets heated add the whole garam masalas and fennel,when they splutter add sliced onions 2 slit green cillies to add while sauting onions" and ginger garlic paste till the raw smell goes. Then add turmeric powder,salt and tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes get mashed.Now add thecooked dhal ,coriander leaves and saute for 1 min.Now add 21/2 cup of water and when it boils add rice .Check the salt now and add to your taste.now keep it in a medium flame till the rice gets nicely cooked.This rice goes well with potato chips,
