  1. 1 1/8 cups flour

  2. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  3. 3/4 cup sugar

  4. 1/4 cup vegetable oil

  5. 6 tablespoons cold water

  6. 2 egg yolks

  7. 4 egg whites

  8. 3/4 teaspoon vanilla

  9. 1/4 teaspoon almond extract

  10. 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

  11. 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar

  1. Preparation : Sift flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar. Make a well and add oil, water, yolks, and flavoring. Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff. Fold into cake mixture; pour into 9 inch greased springform pan or bundt pan. Bake at 325 until top springs back, about 45 minutes.
