  10. 1/2 c Cornmeal, yellow

  11. 1 t Baking powder

  12. 1/2 ts Salt

  13. 1/3 c Soy, rice or almond milk

  14. 2 tb Vegetable oil

  15. Preapare soup as directed in Not-So-Meaty Bean Soup

  16. recipe, EXCEPT do not blend the cooked mixture.

  17. Instead, using a fork, slightly mash the cooked bean

  18. mixture. Return the mixture to boiling.

  19. Combine the ingredients for the dumplings in a medium

  20. bowl and mix with a fork until combined.

  21. 6 to 8 mounts
