  1. 1 tablespoon olive oil

  2. 1 lb course ground beef

  3. 3 cloves garlic , peeled and crushed

  4. 3/4 cup red marinara or spaghetti sauce

  5. 3/4 cup good brown gravy

  6. 1/2 cup half and half 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese , grated

  7. 1 teaspoon dried whole oregano

  8. 1/2 teaspoon dried whole rosemary

  9. Salt

  10. Black pepper

  11. 3/4 lb penne pasta

  12. 1 cup mozzarella , grated

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.

  2. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add penne and cook until al dente.

  3. Heat a large skillet and add the oil, beef, and garlic. Saute until meat is tender. Drain. Add all remaining ingredients except the cheese and pasta. Simmer the mixture while the pasta cooks until just barely tender.

  4. Drain pasta and mix it with the sauce. Pour into 3 quart baking dish and top with the mozzarella cheese. Bake uncovered at 350 for 25 minutes or until all is bubbly hot.
