  1. 2 to 3 yukon gold potatoes , peeled and quartered

  2. 8 to 10 baby carrots

  3. 1 sweet onion , quartered

  4. 2 to 3-lb. beef chuck roast or an eye round roast

  5. 10-3/4 oz. can cream of mushroom soup

  6. 1-1/2 oz. pkg. onion soup mix

  7. Sometimes I use the beefy onion mix.

  1. Arrange vegetables in a slow cooker;

  2. place roast on top.

  3. Spread soup over roast; sprinkle with soup mix.

  4. Use no water.

  5. Cover and cook on low setting for 9 to 10 hours.

  6. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
