  1. Pour 1/4 cup melted butter or margarine in a 9x 13 inch pan.

  2. Spread 1 cup packed brown sugar evenly over the melted butter.

  3. Position pineapple rings on top of brown sugar.

  4. Place a maraschino cherry in the center of each ring.

  5. Pour Golden Cake batter over all.

  6. Bake in a 350° F.

  7. Oven for 45 minutes.

  8. Invert cake, and serve warm with whipped cream.
