  2. 1 clove garlic olive oil

  3. 2 teaspoons chili powder

  4. 1 fresh red chili , deseeded and finely chopped

  5. 1 teaspoon ground cumin sea salt and freshly ground pepper

  6. 450 gram steak , minced or really good minced beef

  7. 200 gram sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil

  8. 2x 400 gram tins chopped tomato es

  9. 1/2 stick cinnamon

  10. 2x 400 gram tins red kidney beans, drained

  1. Chop the onions and garlic nice and fine and fry in a large pan or casserole in some olive oil until softened. Add the chili powder, fresh chili, cumin and a little seasoning. Then add the minced meat and continue to cook, stirring, until it has browned. Blitz the sun-dried tomatoes in a food processor with some olive oil until it becomes a paste. Add this to the beef with the tomatoes, cinnamon stick and a glass of water. Season a little more if you like. Bring to boil, cover with the lid and leave to simmer softly for about 1h. Add the beans and leave again for 30 minutes.
