  9. 1 Egg -- beaten

  10. 1/2 c Soft bread crumbs --

  13. 1 tb Parsley -- chopped

  14. 1/4 ts Garlic powder

  15. Pepper -- to taste

  16. 1/2 lb Lean ground beef

  17. SOUP 15 oz Canned tomatoes with basil

  18. 'pasta ready'

  19. 1/2 c Beef broth

  20. 8 oz Canned garbanzo beans --

  21. Rinsed and drained 2 c Water

  22. 1 t Italian seasonings --

  23. Rubbed

  24. 1/2 c Uncooked bow tie pasta

  25. 2 c Spinach leaves -- torn

  26. 1 c Sliced mushrooms

  27. 24 - 36 meatballs. Brown about 8 minutes. Drain.

  28. In a large stock pan, stir together undrained

  29. tomatoes, broth, beans, water, and all seasonings.

  30. Bring just to a boil. Add bows. Reduce heat to gently

  31. 8 minutes

  32. spinach, mushrooms and meatballs. Serve now: simmer

  33. 20 minutes

  34. off. Cover and let stand no more than 30 minutes.
