  5. 1 1/2 c Sugar

  6. 3/4 c Hershey's Cocoa

  7. 1 ds Salt

  8. 1 c Hot water

  9. 2 ts Vanilla extract

  10. In medium saucepan, stir together sugar, cocoa and salt. Gradually add

  11. water, stirring to keep mixture smooth. Cook over medium heat, stirring

  12. constantly, until mixture boils; boil and stir 3 minutes. Remove from

  13. heat; stir in vanilla. Pour into heatproof container. Cool to room

  14. temperature. Cover; refrigerate. Use as topping for ice cream and desserts or for chocolate-flavored drinks. About 2 cups syrup.

  15. Variations:

  16. 1 to 2 tablespoons Cocoa Syrup to mug of hot milk; stir

  17. until blended.

  18. 1 to 2 tablespoons Cocoa Syrup to tall glass of

  19. cold milk; stir until blended.
