  1. Fresh ginger adds a spicy snap to triple sec in this easy-to-make liqueur. It’s perfect for gifts, but be sure to save some for yourself.

  2. liter triple sec 1 lb. ginger, peeled, thinly sliced 4 oz. unsweetened pomegranate juice 1. Pour triple sec into large bowl or juice pitcher; stir in ginger. Cover and refrigerate 3 to 7 days or until liqueur has taken on enough ginger flavor, mixing or shaking once a day.

  3. Strain and discard ginger. Stir in pomegranate juice.( Liqueur can be made 1 month ahead. Cover and refrigerate. )

  4. 4 1/2 cups Ginger-Orange Sparkler 2 oz. Ginger-Orange Liqueur Dry sparkling wine, such as Cava Orange twist Pour liqueur into champagne flute (sugar rim, if desired); top with sparkling wine. Garnish with orange twist.
