  1. 1 pound fresh or frozen medium shrimp

  2. 2 tablespoons butter or margarine

  3. 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms

  4. 1/2 cup chopped onion

  5. 1/2 cup chopped green sweet pepper

  6. 2 cloves garlic, minced

  7. 1 10 3/4-ounce can condensed tomato bisque soup

  8. 2/3 cup water

  9. 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning, crushed Hot cooked penne or rotini pasta Shredded or grated Parmesan cheese

  1. Method : Thaw shrimp, if frozen. Peel and devein shrimp. Rinse shrimp; pat dry with paper towels. Set aside. In a large skillet melt butter over medium heat. Add mushrooms, onion, sweet pepper, and garlic; cook about 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Stir in tomato bisque soup, the water, and Italian seasoning. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Add shrimp to skillet; cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until shrimp are opaque. Serve with hot cooked pasta. If desired, top individual servings with Parmesan cheese.
