  1. 3 cans black-eyed peas -- drained

  2. 1 cup vegetable oil

  3. 1/2 cup wine vinegar

  4. 1/4 cup onion -- chopped

  5. 1 teaspoon garlic salt

  6. 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  7. 4 dashes hot sauce onion rings -- for garnish green pepper rings -- for garnish

  1. Preparation : Combine all ingredients except onion rings and pepper rings. Stir well. Cover and marinate at least 3 days in refrigerator. Garnish with onion rings and pepper rings.
