  1. 1 cup flour

  2. 3/4 cup oatmeal

  3. 1 cup brown sugar

  4. 1/2 cup melted butter

  5. 1 tsp vanilla

  6. 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  7. 1 1/2 cups diced rhubarb

  8. 1 1/2 cups sliced strawberries (stems removed)

  9. 1 1/2 cups fresh blackberries

  10. 1 cup white sugar

  11. 2 tablespoons cornstarch

  12. 1 cup water

  13. 1 teaspoon vanilla

  1. Mix first 5 ingredients until crumbly. Press half of the mixture in a 9" square baking pan. Cover with the rhubarb, strawberries and blackberries. Combine sugar, cornstarch, water and vanilla in a medium size saucepan. Bring to a boil then quickly reduce to a simmer until the sugar is dissolved and the liquid is clear. Pour mixture of the rhubarb and top with remaining crumb mixture. Bake for 1 hour at 350F. Yield: serves 6 Notes: Also try grating about 1 Tbsp. fresh orange or lemon zest into the crust/crumble mixture for and extra little pop of flavor!
