  1. TVP "Meat"loaf

  2. 1-1/2 cups onion, finely chopped

  3. 2 cloves garlic, minced

  4. 1 Tbs canola or olive oil

  5. 2 cups TVP granules

  6. 2 cups hot vegetable broth

  7. 1 Tbs soy sauce

  8. 2 cups bread crumbs

  9. 2 Tbs nutritional yeast flakes

  10. 2 Tbs wheat gluten (or flour)

  11. 1/4 cup tomato sauce or ketchup

  12. 1/2 tsp each: thyme, rosemary, sage

  13. 1 cup finely chopped fresh parsley

  14. Saute the onions and garlic in the oil, and cook until onions are

  15. soft. In large bowl, mix all the other ingredients and add the

  16. cooked onions and garlic. Mix very well. Allow to set for 5

  17. minutes.

  18. Pat mixture into oiled loaf pan (or form onto cookie sheet) and 1 hour at

  19. 350. Invert loaf onto platter to serve.
