  1. Tangy Pork Chops

  2. 6 pork chops,

  3. 1/2 inch thick

  4. 1/2 teaspoon salt, optional

  5. 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  6. 1 medium onion, sliced

  7. 2 ribs celery, chopped

  8. 1 large green pepper, sliced

  9. 1 can stewed tomatoes,

  10. 14 1/2 ounces

  11. 1/2 cup ketchup

  12. 2 tablespoons cider vinegar

  13. 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  14. 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce

  15. 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  16. 1 beef bouillon cubes

  17. 2 tablespoons cornstarch

  18. 2 tablespoons water

  19. Place chops in a slow-cooker; sprinkle with salt & pepper. Add

  20. the onion, celery, green pepper, and tomatoes. Combine ketchup,

  21. vinegar, sugar, worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and bouillon

  22. cube; pour over vegetables. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.

  23. Mix cornstarch and water until smooth; stir into liquid in slow-cooker.

  24. Cover and cook on high for 30 min. or until thickened.
