Key lime pie

    1. 1 env. gelatin

    2. 1/2 c. sugar

    3. 1/4 tsp. salt

    4. 4 egg yolks

    5. 1/2 c. Key Lime Juice

    6. 1/4 c. water

    7. 4 egg whites

    8. 1/3 c. sugar

    9. 8 oz. Cool Whip or whipping cream

    10. Baked pie shell

    Instructions Jump to Ingredients ↑

    1. Cook first 6 ingredients boils. Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind and few drops green food color and cool until it forms a little mound. I use pan of ice water. Beat egg whites add sugar and fold in Cool Whip. Then fold into first mixture. Put in baked 9 inch pie shell. Top with more Cool Whip if want.
