  1. Fried Breaded Brussel Sprouts

  2. 20 oz brussel sprouts

  3. 1 1/2 cups unbleached flour

  4. 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs

  5. 4 eggs, beaten or use egg betters or 6 egg whites

  6. salt pepper garlic, minced

  7. olive oil

  8. Trim the sprouts, cut in half length wise. Bring water to a boil

  9. 4 minutes to

  10. 6 minutes. Remove

  11. and place in cold water to stop cooking.

  12. Place sprouts into a mixture of flour, salt and papper, coat well.

  13. Remove and place the sprouts into beaten eggs, coat well. Remove

  14. and place into bread crumbs and coat well.

  15. Fry the brussel sprouts in olive oil and garlic for about 10 minutes

  16. over medium heat or until a golden brown.
