  5. Pasty recipe:

  6. 1/4 lb Butter

  7. 3 oz Cream cheese

  8. 1 c Flour, all-purpose; sifted

  9. Filling 1:

  10. 3/4 c Brown sugar

  11. 1/2 c Pecans; finely chopped

  12. Filling 2:

  13. 1 Egg; lightly beaten

  14. 3/4 c Granulated sugar

  15. 1 tb Butter; melted

  16. 2/3 c Shredded coconut

  17. 1/2 ts Vanilla extract

  19. You will need mini-muffin tins for these cookies. Oven

  20. 350 F.

  21. FOR PASTRY SHELLS: Make recipe of pie pastry, roll out and cut rounds to

  22. fit muffin cups.

  23. FOR CREAM CHEESE PASTRY: Mix together ingredients in medium bowl. Divide

  24. equally among muffin tins. Press in with fingers.

  25. FOR FILLINGS: Mix all ingredients well in small bowl. Place 1 teaspoon

  26. filling in each pastry-lined muffin cup. Bake in preheated oven at 350 F.

  27. for 20 minutes until done.

  28. Run tip of sharp knive around tart when done to loosen. Remove to wire

  29. racks to cool. Store in tin box between layers of wax paper. --
