  1. 1/2 c Chopped dates

  2. 1 c Chopped preserved figs

  3. 1/4 c Lemon juice

  4. 1/2 c Sugar

  5. 1/3 c Fig sirup

  6. 1 c Whipping cream

  7. Few grains salt

  1. Combine fruits, lemon juice, fig sirup, sugar, and salt.

  2. Pour into mold.

  3. Pack in ice and salt.

  4. Partially freeze.

  5. Carefully fold in stiffly whipped cream.

  6. Repack.

  7. Let stand 4 hours.
