  1. 3 lb Stew meat, chopped

  2. 1 Clove garlic, diced

  3. 5 T Butter

  4. 1 1/2 c Water

  5. Salt 1 Bay leaf

  6. Pepper 2 lb Small white onions

  7. 1 Onion, chopped

  8. 1/2 lb Mushrooms, sliced

  9. 1 6 oz can tomato paste

  10. 3/4 lb Jack cheese, grated

  11. 2 T Red wine vinegar

  12. 1 hour, adding additional water as needed. Add white onions and mushrooms. Cover and simmer

  13. 1 more hour or until meat and onions are tender. Add cheese, cover and cook

  14. 5 minutes, or until cheese melts.
