  1. 1/2 cup 31g / 1.1oz Onion - chopped

  2. 1 lb 454g / 16oz Beef - ground, your choice

  3. 1 teaspoon 5ml Butter or margarine

  4. 1 Cream of tomato soup

  5. 1 cup 237ml Water

  6. 2 cups 474ml Macaroni - uncooked

  7. 1 cup 146g / 5.1oz Cheese - grated cheddar

  1. In a large skillet, cook the chopped onion in the butter or margarine. Mix in 1 lb ground beef and cook until browned. Drain off any excess fat. Stir in the tomato soup, 1 cup water, the macaroni, and cook until macaroni is tender. You can add a can of creamed corn if you think you might like it.

  2. Pour into a casserole dish, bake uncovered 25 minutes, at 350F.

  3. Sprinkle with grated cheddar, bake another 20 minutes.
