  1. 6 oz Wholemeal flour

  2. 2 oz White flour

  3. 2 oz Pinhead oatmeal

  4. 2 oz Wheatgerm

  5. 2 oz Bran

  6. 2 oz Pecans, Finely chopped

  7. 1 t Bicarbonate of soda

  8. 1/4 ts Salt

  9. 1 t Sugar

  10. 1 Egg

  11. 10 fl Skimmed milk

  12. --FOR TOP OF LOAF-- Sunflower Seeds

  13. 375F, Gas Mark

  14. 5. Place all the dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Add the egg and milk and mix well with a spoon. Put into a 1-pint non-stick loaf tin, smooth over roughly, sprinkle over the sunflower seeds and bake for 45 to 60 minutes or until crisp on top and it leaves a skewer clean if speared.
