  1. 1 cup 198g / 7oz Sugar

  2. 1 cup 198g / 7oz Margarine or butter Softened

  3. 2 Eggs

  4. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Vanilla

  5. 3 cups 187g / 6.6oz All-purpose flour

  6. 1 teaspoon 5ml Salt

  7. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Baking soda

  1. Recipe Instructions Mix sugar, margarine, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients. Divide into 3 equal parts. Shape each part into a roll, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Wrap and refrigerate at least 4 hrs. Heat oven to 400F. Cut rolls into 1/8 inch slices. Place about 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie shoot. /bake 8 to 10 minutes. Immediately remove from cookie sheet.
