  6. 4 c All-purpose flour, divided

  7. 3 c Sugar, divided

  8. 2 1/2 c Milk, divided

  9. 1 c Vegetable oil

  10. 3 Eggs

  11. 1 ts Vanilla extract

  12. 1 c Chopped nuts

  13. 2 ts Sinnamon

  14. 1 1/2 ts Baking powder

  15. 1/2 ts Salt

  16. 1/2 ts Baking soda

  17. 1 pk Lg. instant vanilla pudding

  18. Solid shortening

  19. Cinnamon sugar

  20. DO NOT USE A METAL SPOON, METAL BOWL OR METAL PAN! DO NOT

  21. REFRIGERATE!

  22. Day 1 - Do nothing

  23. Day 2 - Stir starter with wooden spoon

  24. Day 3 - Stir starter with wooden spoon

  25. Day 4 - Stir starter with wooden spoon

  26. Day 5 - Stir starter with wooden spoon

  27. 6 - Add

  28. Day 7 - Stir starter with wooden spoon

  29. Day 8 - Stir starter with wooden spoon

  30. Day 9 - Stir starter with wooden spoon

  31. 10 - Add

  32. 1 cup plain flour,

  33. 1 cup sugar and 1 cup milk; stir with

  34. : wooden spoon

  35. Pour into three 1-cup containers. Keep one for yourself and give the

  36. other two to friends with a copy of this recipe.

  37. TO BAKE BREAD:

  38. Pour the remainder of the starter into a large glass or plastic bowl.

  39. 1 cup oil,

  40. 1/2 cup milk,

  41. 3 eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix

  42. thoroughly with wooden spoon.

  43. In a separate glass or plastic bowl, mix together 2 cups plain flour,

  44. 1 cup sugar,

  45. 1 cup chopped nuts,

  46. 2 teaspoons cinnamon,

  47. 1 1/2 teaspoons

  48. 1/2 teaspoon salt,

  49. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and large box instant vanilla pudding.

  50. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix thoroughly by hand.

  51. Do not use electric mixer.

  52. 2 large or 4 small loaf pans, which have been well greased

  53. (with solid shortening) and generously sprinkled with cinnamon sugar.

  54. 325ø for about 1 hour

  55. for large pans or about 40 minutes for small pans.
