  1. ORANGE CINNAMON CHICKEN

  2. 3-4 lb chicken cut into serving pieces

  3. 1 cup chicken broth, homemade or canned

  4. 1/4 lb butter

  5. 2 cups orange juice

  6. 1 cup raisins or sultanas

  7. salt and fresh black pepper to taste

  8. 1/4 tsp cinnamon

  9. 2 Tbs flour

  10. Heat butter in large skillet, and brown chicken. Remove chicken

  11. pieces to slow cooker as they brown. Combine all other ingredients,

  12. except flour, mix well and pour over chicken. Cover pot, turn on

  13. 4-6 hours, or until chicken is tender. Remove

  14. 1 cup

  15. of sauce from the pot and combine with flour, mixing well. Return

  16. sauce - flour mixture to pot. Turn pot on HIGH, and cook additional

  17. half hour.
