  1. 2 cans green beans

  2. 1/2 medium onion

  3. 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  4. 1/2 cup flour

  5. 1/2 stick margarine

  6. 2 cups milk

  7. 1 cup cold water

  8. 1 tablespoon soy sauce or instant bouillon salt and pepper -- to taste

  1. Preparation : Cook beans until tender, drain, puree in blender or food processor with onion and lemon juice. Melt margarine in a sauce pan. Blend in flour. Add milk, water, and soy or bouillon. Stir until thickened. Add pureed bean mixture; salt and pepper to taste.
