  1. 1 lb White fish, cut in chunks

  2. 1 c Onion, sliced

  3. 1 t Lacama (see recipe)

  4. 1 c Potatoes, diced

  5. 1 c Carrots, diced

  6. 1/2 ts Salt

  7. 1 t Sweet red pepper

  8. 1 c Tomatoes, cubed

  9. 1/2 ts Saffron

  10. 1/2 c Olive oil, heated

  11. 1 Red pepper, sliced

  12. Layer all ingredients. Pour over the hot oil. Top with the pimento. Simmer slowly for about 3/4 hour. Do not mix. Serve: Hot, with drops of lemon juice.
