  1. 4 medium tomatoes

  2. 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt

  3. 1 can(s) (6-ounce) tuna packed in water , or 3-ounce pouch of tuna

  4. 1 small onion , halved and diced

  5. 1/2 stalk(s) celery , diced

  6. 2 tablespoon(s) pickle relish (Sweet or dill, you choose.)

  7. 2 tablespoon(s) mayonnaise

  8. 2 tablespoon(s) mustard

  9. 1 teaspoon(s) dill

  10. Salt and pepper to taste

  11. 2 teaspoon(s) bread crumbs

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Carefully cut a 2-inch hole out of the stem end of each tomato with the paring knife. Scoop the seeds out of the tomatoes with the spoon. Sprinkle a pinch of salt in each tomato, and let them rest upside down on the paper towels while you make the tuna salad.

  2. Open the tuna with the can opener, and drain. (Your cat will appreciate the tuna water as a special treat.) Put it in the mixing bowl, and then add the diced celery and diced onion to the bowl.

  3. Add the relish, the mayonnaise, the mustard, and the dill. Stir it all up and then have a taste. Add just enough salt and pepper to make it perfect to your taste buds.

  4. Fill the tomatoes with tuna salad, top with the bread crumbs, and put them in the baking dish. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. (Remember to use potholders when taking the dish out of the oven.)
