  6. 1 1/2 c Pink lentils

  7. 3/4 ts Turmeric

  8. 2 ts Salt

  9. 5 tb Ghee

  10. 6 lg Garlic cloves

  11. Wash lentils. Place in a deep pot with the turmeric &

  12. 5 cups of water. Bring to a bol, stirring often.

  14. minutes. Turn off heat & beat lentils with a wire

  15. whisk to smooth the puree. Stir in the salt.

  16. When ready to serve, simemr the puree till pi

  17. ping

  18. hot. Heat the ghee in a skillet. When hot, add

  19. garlic slices & fry till they start to turn brown.

  20. Pour this over the lentil puree. Stir to mix & serve.
