  2. 1 cup bread crumbs

  3. 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh basil

  4. 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley

  5. 1/8 teaspoon salt

  6. 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  7. 2 tablespoons grated Romano or Parmigiano Reggiano cheese

  1. Brush a nonstick sautÈ pan with the oil and warm over medium heat for 1 minute. Add the bread crumbs and cook, stirring, until brown, about 2 minutes.

  2. Transfer to a bowl, add all the remaining ingredients and mix well. Let the mixture come to room temperature, then store in an airtight container or reclosable plastic bag.
