  1. 1 pkg. (2-layer size) white cake mix

  2. 1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) JELL-O Cheesecake Flavor Instant Pudding

  3. 1 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder

  4. 1/8 tsp. violet paste food color 1 Tbsp. royal blue paste food color , divided

  5. 1 tub (10.6 oz.) COOL WHIP Cream Cheese Whipped Frosting , thawed

  6. 24 mini chocolate chip cookies

  7. 24 JET-PUFFED Marshmallow s, cut in half

  8. 48 brown candy-coated chocolate pieces (about 1/2 cup)

  1. HEAT oven to 350°F.

  2. PREPARE cake batter as directed on package. Add dry pudding mix, cocoa powder, violet food color and 2 tsp. blue food color; mix well. Spoon into 24 paper-lined muffin pan cups.

  3. BAKE 18 to 21 min. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool cupcakes in pans 10 min.; remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely.

  4. ADD remaining food coloring to frosting; mix well. Spread onto cupcakes. Decorate with remaining ingredients to resemble monsters as shown in photo.
