  1. To the Ragi flour,add a pinch of salt 2) Start adding water little by little to the flour and mix well till a stage is reached where the flour is moist, but if you make a ball out of it will crumble. The flour should be wet enough for steaming. In a bowl place a rinsed wet cloth and transfer the flour over it.

  2. Steam cook the flour in pressure cooker or in steamer for 10-15 minutes.

  3. Dry grind the roasted groundnut in blender to get a coarse powder.

  4. Transfer the hot steamed flour to a bowl and mix it well again to a grainy form.

  5. Add the groundnut powder, grated coconut and mix well the contents.

  6. Sprinkle sugar or grated jaggery and a pinch of cardamom powder and again mix the contents well.

  7. The hot steamed soft sweet finger millet crumb or Ragi puttu is ready.
