  1. 2 pounds chicken parts

  2. 2 tablespoons salad oil

  3. 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup --

  4. 10 3/4 oz. 3/4 cup orange juice

  5. 1 cup sliced onion

  6. 2 tablespoons slivered almonds

  7. 2 tablespoons raisins

  8. 2 medium clove garlic -- minced

  9. 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  10. 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves

  11. 1 dash crushed saffron or ground turmeric orange slices -- for garnish

  1. Preparation : 1. Brown chicken in oil in skillet; pour off fat.

  2. Stir in remaining ingredients except orange slices; cover and simmer 45 minutes, or until done, stirring occasionally.

  3. Garnish with orange slices
