  1. 4 brinjals (baingan / eggplant) 2 onions little tamarind (imli) pulp salt to taste 1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi) 1 tsp rasam powder or more according to taste 1 tbsp oil few curry leaves (kadi patta) sugar to taste

  1. Cut the bringals and onions length wise into thin pieces. Pour oil in a kadai when heated add mustard seeds curry leaves haldi onions and bringals. Cook them in a slow flame for 5 miniutes . Add salt sugar rasam powder and tamarind juice and cook further till you get a nise aroma cover with a plate and keep it sim for another few minutes.
