  1. 1 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate morsels - Nestle's are gluten free

  2. 1/3 cup unsalted butter , cut into pieces

  3. 1/2 cup prune or apple butter

  4. Six large eggs , separated

  5. 1/3 cup sugar , divided

  6. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  1. Heat oven to 350-degrees. Grease muffin cups with cooking spray.

  2. Stir chocolate and butter in heavy saucepan over low heat until smooth.

  3. Remove from heat, stir in prune butter. Cool to lukewarm.

  4. In large bowl, with electric mixer on high, mix egg yolks and ¼ cup sugar until very thick and pale, about three minutes.

  5. Fold in chocolate mixture and vanilla.

  6. Using clean, dry beaters, beat egg whites and remaining sugar in bowl until stiff but not dry, about two minutes.

  7. Fold egg-white mixture into chocolate mixture until just combined.

  8. Bake 28-30 minutes. Cool completely.
