  1. 5 lbs. yellow onions (golfball size)

  2. pickling spices (any brand)

  3. white vinegar

  1. peel and rince(under cold running water) and fill 2 (1 qt.) jsterilized jars with onions as full as possible add 2 TBS. spices and fill jars with vinegar,seal tightly and shake to mix spices and vinegar do not refrigerate,but let stand in room temp. for 7-10 days after 10 days, refrigerate to stop pickling process- will last 4 months or more liquid might become cloudy,don't worry,onions are fine.
