  1. 1 1/2 cups mashed potato flakes

  2. 1 tsp. salt

  3. 1/2 tsp. paprika

  4. 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

  5. 1/4 cup margarine

  6. 1 TBSP. water

  7. 1 egg , beaten

  8. 3 pounds cut up frying chicken

  1. In a large bowl combine flakes, salt, paprika, and garlic. Mix well, Stir in margarine. Combine beaten egg with water and mix well. Dip chicken into egg then roll in flake mixture, coating all sides. Place in a 13X9 baking dish or pan uncovered. Bake 350 for 1½ hours till done and light brown. Lynn Byers McClellan
