  2. 1/2 cup 118ml Orange juice

  3. 1/3 cup 78ml Water

  4. 1 teaspoon 5ml Orange zest

  5. 1 cup 237ml Dates - pitted

  1. Recipe Instructions In a small saucepan, combine the apricots, orange juice, water, and orange zest, and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the mixture to cool for 5 minutes. Transfer the mixture to a blender or food processor, add the dates, and pulse process to form a thick spread. Transfer to an airtight container and chill for several hours to allow the flavors to blend. Stored in the refrigerator, it will last for 1 week.
